Metaphors and maples.

More than the syrup, for me at least, maples and this whole maple tapping effort just keep feeding me with creative energy. Perhaps its being outdoors all the time too, or the energy I get from learning new things. I'm even getting better at identifying trees which is not something I knew much about two months ago. But back to metaphors. From tapping into community, to boiling down what looks like water but ends in amber and brown syrup, there's no end to the connections one makes when tapping trees.
